Stock reconstruction: What is it for and when to use it

Stock reconstruction is a task that, based on the movements of an item, allows you to (re)calculate the quantity available in stock at that moment.

You should use it when you need to handle the product (such as moving it to a quality zone) but cannot do so because it is reserved, yet not allocated to any order.

But how does this reservation happen?

During picking, when the product is not found on the shelf, the option 'Not Found' should be used. This action informs the system that the desired product is not available at that location, placing that stock in reservation status without allocating it to any specific order.
