How to Create a Shipping Guide?
A Shipping Order is a document that specifies what has been agreed upon to deliver to a particular destination at a specific date and time. It contains information about the items (with batches and serial numbers, if applicable) and their respective quantities. There are different types of shipments, such as customer shipments, supplier returns, warehouse transfers, and factory deliveries, to name a few.
Note: The creation of a Shipping Order can be done in two ways: manually or through synchronization by external software.
Instructions:
- Go to the "Shipping Orders" menu, available in the sidebar or on the application's home page, under the "Outbound" section.
- Select "+ Add."
- Provide the mandatory information:
- Shipment Process
- Delivery Point
- Optionally, you can provide additional information:
- Reference
- "Reserve items for shipment with a minimum validity of," where you can specify days/months if you want to restrict the validity of the reserved batches assigned by the application.
- Transporters
- Observations
- Select "Save."
- Go to the "Lines" tab.
- Select "+ Add" (you can also load lines by importing from an Excel file).
- Provide information for each line:
- Article (mandatory)
- Batch (optional)
- Quantity (mandatory)
- Volume (optional)
- "Reserve items for shipment with a minimum validity of" at the line level (optional)
- Save the lines.
- Select "Send to Picking."
Note: During line loading, you can indicate at the batch or article level. If you don't specify the batch, it is automatically chosen based on the "First Expired, First Out" (FEFO) rule.

How to Create a Wave Type Shipping Order:
Instructions
- Follow all the steps described above and select the type of shipment configured as "Wave."
- In the "Shipping Orders" menu, choose the option "View Waves."
- Select "+ Add."
- Enter the wave date.
- Select "Confirm."
- On the line of the newly created wave, choose the "Edit" symbol.
- Select the shipping orders you want to add to the wave (they can be selected individually or in bulk).
- Select "Confirm."
- On the line of the newly created wave, choose the "Start" symbol.
Note: This functionality only works for shipping orders that are of the "Wave" type. This information must be configured in advance in the "Shipping Processes" under "Settings."
Please note
Before creating a Shipping Order, you should go to the "Settings" menu to configure the following:
- Shipping Processes: This is defined at the warehouse level, and there can be multiple shipping processes in each warehouse.
- Transporters: You can create as many as you need, but there will always be a default one.
- Outputs: You can modify your preferences in the "Outputs" tab under the Settings menu.
