How to set up Container Types?

Instructions

1. Go to the "Settings" menu in the sidebar.
2. Select the "Container" tab.
3. Click on "+ Add."
4. Fill in the mandatory fields:
   • Type (Container, Pallet, or Box)
   • Description
   • Prefix (indicative that will appear in the Volume's Barcode)
5. Optionally, fill in the following fields:
   • Level (defines the hierarchy of containers)
   • Dimensions
   • Generate SSCC (if enabled, generates SSCC code according to GS1 rules)
   • Requires Weight and Dimensions (if enabled, requires weight and dimensions to be filled when closing the Packing. If the values are already filled, it will only request the weight)

Please note

When creating a Container, consider the following:

• The Container's "Code" must be unique.
• The Container's "Barcode" consists of: Prefix + 5 digits.
• The Container Indicator is IA 97. Whenever a Volume Barcode is scanned, it will be of type 97 + Prefix + 5 digits.
