How to Place a Product in Quality Control?

Step 1: Creation of Quality States

(This step can only be performed by a user with administration permissions)

  1. Go to the "Products" tab in the "Settings" menu.
  2. Open the "Quality States" tab.
  3. Select "+ Add."
  4. Fill in the "Code" and "Description" fields.
  5. Click "Save."

Note: You can create as many codes as needed.

Step 2: Placing a Product in Quality

  1. Go to the "Perform Reception" menu, available in the side or main menu of the application, in the "Inbound" section.
  2. Select the "Receive" button.
  3. Enter the barcode.
  4. If necessary, enter the batch, expiration date, and serial number.
  5. Enter the quantity.
  6. Click the Quality button.
    • You can either click the button and define the state later.
    • Or you can choose immediately.

Note: There is a setting in the "Settings" menu that determines whether it is mandatory for the operator to indicate the quality state when placing the product in quality or if it is sufficient to indicate that it is in quality.

Please Note

  • Currently, placing a product in quality has no immediate effect on its treatment. It is primarily for recording which products are in quality during each reception. The analysis and the entire subsequent process must be done manually by the operator.
